This article will explain how to change a reference you have already cited.
Note: if you would like to replace an existing citation with a different case, you can simply delete your citation and reinsert a new one.

Edit Citation menu
When you cite or click on an existing citation, you will notice the Cite button disappears. This is because CiteRight can update a reference you've already cited. Simply make your changes in the Edit Citation window and watch them update your citation automatically.
Please note that any changes made in the "Modify Reference" menu (style of cause, short form, hyperlink, case history etc.) will apply to every instance of that source in the document. However, changes in the Edit Citation menu apply only to the particular citation you are inserting or updating (e.g. pinpoints, annotations, suppressing the style of cause).
To further modify a reference cited throughout your document, please see this article.
1. Click Edit Citation.
2. Make changes in the pop up window, then click Save.

- Hover over a paragraph
3. Click on the +/- para button
4. Watch your citation preview and/or existing citation change!
